 ADMINISTRATOR

  • The role
    This is a newly created role and as such will develop to adapt to the changing needs of the business. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance to the company owners. This is a senior position in the company requiring a high level of responsibility and responding directly to the senior management.
  • Responsibilities
    The successful applicant will have day to day management for the creative team and will work closely with the Creative Team Leader to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and in full.
    They will deal with customer enquiries by email and telephone and provide administrative support for the company owner.
  • Skills and experience
    The successful applicant must have team leader or managerial experience
    Excellent IT skills including profficeiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Customer service experience would also be an advantage
  • Attributes
    The successful candidate will be a confident individual with a pleasant manner able to deal with people at all levels in the organisation and with customers and suppliers at all levels
    Flexibility is essential as is a proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Hours
    The position is currently offered at 21
     hours per week but will develop into full time for the ideal candidate as the business expands

    INTERNSHIPS

    Are you looking for exciting, hands on work experience placement? Punky Pins is currently running a fun filled placement scheme. There are positions available for around ten interns every 3 months, who will gain practical experience within the fashion/ design industry.

    Hours are flexible, and we are looking for full time four week placements intended for graduates, as well as 'one day a week' student placements. All travel expenses will be paid for. We are looking for people with a creative flair, to work on a variety of tasks, in our offices in Middlesbrough.

    Experience is not essential as you will be given full training in your chosen area. You will be able to specialise in areas such as jewellery design/ construction; photography, and marketing. You will receive full guidance from us and gain an insight into working for a rapidly expanding, celebrity endorsed accessories company. At the end of your placement you will receive a certificate from the National Council for Work Experience, and a report from Punky Pins giving you feedback on what you have achieved.
