As you know, we're big on feminism here at Punky Pins! So, with Christmas just around the corner, we wanted to share some of our top tips to enjoy a fabulously feminist Christmas!
Avoid gender-specific gifts
Whilst you're at it – avoid gender-specific wrapping paper, cards, and everything else. When you're shopping for gifts, make a conscious effort to avoid anything overly gendered. Instead, focus on giving your loved ones things you think they'll love, regardless of who they're marketed to.
Share household responsibilities
This one isn't just for Christmas. With an ever-growing to-do list over the festive season, be sure to share household responsibilities and avoid overwhelming yourself. You do not have to do it all!
Add a feminist tweak to Christmas carols, cards, and everything else
As you know, we have to fight the good fight every damn day. Christmas is one of those days. So, where possible, opt for cards, carols, and decorations with a feminist twist. Who knows, you might inspire someone else to join the revolution too!
Don't be afraid to speak up
When uncle knobhead decides to pipe up with his anti-feminist views, don't be afraid to politely put him in his place. Remember, we're feminist and proud, baby!

When you can steal away some time to yourself, catch up with those feminist books, blogs, films and series you've been meaning to enjoy!
